HOW DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS?
As your wedding photographer, I will guide you through organizational tips, timing for photos, and light management. I appreciate receiving previews of your attire, shoes, and invites to help me see the vision. I use a Canon R6 iii mirrorless and a couple different film cameras, each with specific lenses for versatility and style. I prefer natural light but use an on camera flash and an off camera flash both strobes for necessary moments. My editing involves Lightroom, and my own unique process. On your day I aim to capture emotions, moments, and unique wedding features.
when will we get our photos?
Within a timeframe of a maximum of 4 weeks ( although I aim for 15 days) You will receive an exclusive online gallery link containing all the captivating moments captured during our time together. This gallery offers you the freedom to not only download all the photos but also share them with your loved ones. Take the opportunity to handpick your personal favorites and , if you desire, order professional prints to cherish these precious memories in physical form.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are thrilled to be based in the magnificent metropolitan city of Chicago, but let us tell you a little secret - we love to travel! If you are thinking of having us capture your incredible story it might require a travel fee based on the location. But no need to fret we are always on the look out for the most friendly options because we genuinely enjoy exploring new places and creating beautiful memories along the way !
how many pictures will we receive?
When you look at our packages we ensure a minimum amount of photos, but to be honest I don't like to count when I am editing. It is truly an honor for me to capture your special moment and I just hand pick the best photos and deliver them all, whether that is 1000 or 3000! Your day is what is important not sticking to the minimum on the agreement.
How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?
To ensure that we can be a part of your special day, I recommend booking as early as possible. Typically, couples reserve our services around 10-12 months before their wedding date to secure their preferred date. However, don't worry if your planning timeframe is shorter; We encourage you to reach out about our availability regardless.
